Aged Herringbone Parquet Wood Flooring

The Herringbone pattern is somewhat exclusive, often being used in beautiful castles and elegant stately homes. This prefinished floor has succeeded in producing the right combination of a practicality and beauty. Our floors are carefully aged before given the colour of your choice. As a result any further damage won't show, and the floor radiates the feeling of having successfully weathered ravages of time. After all, a wooden floor "lives", matures and improves with age.
The herringbone parquet comes in a choice of sizes and comes in both a 16mm thick board and 20.5mm board - both can be laid as a floating floor and can be used with under floor heating.

Today, they are also being installed in more modest private dwellings.

This flooring is available in the following styles:

• Excalibur - a deep dark oak similar to the antique effect oak
• Rochester - a white oiled oak giving a bleached effect (pictured above)

Dimensions:

• 16mm (12 + 4mm top) thick or 20.5mm (15 + 5.5mm top)
• 100mm or 150mm wide
• 500mm or750mm long.

The boards are a rustic grade oak and come unbevelled. Microbevelled edges are available to order. The floor is prefinished so it saves sanding and sealing. The blocks are larger than the standard size parquet to give an original castle floor effect.

This range is available to order (delivery times usually around 3-4 weeks).
