Boen Boflex P1 Sports Flooring

AUTHORITY
BOEN Boflex P1 has been fully tested by the Norwegian Building Institute and has passed the DIN Standard test, DIN18032: Part II and to BS 7044 Part 4. It is therefore designed to comply with all requirements laid down by Building Regulations and British Standard Codes of Practice and all acknowledged internationally recognised criteria for sports floors.

APPEARANCE
The overall appearance is of a high quality hardwood strip floor. A variety of hardwood species are available in a single grade. Those normally specified are Maple, Beech, Ash and Oak. All hardwood used is taken from managed sustainable sources.

DIMENSIONS
BOEN Boflex P1 consists of standard boards measuring 2200mm x 137mm. The boards have a depth of 28mm. Inclusive of the resilient strips. The overall floor height is just 28mm.
Weight is 11.6kg/m² or 3.5kg/board.

DIN STANDARD
BOEN Boflex P1 has been designed and manufactured to the DIN standard for sports flooring and has achieved DIN 18032: Part II.

COMPOSITION AND MANUFACTURE
BOEN Boflex P1 flooring system consists of prefinished, 3-ply laminate boards, each board consisting of a 4mm hardwood wearing surface backed with two layers of softwood, cross-layered to provide exceptional dimensional stability. Each board is provided with a unique double tongue to ensure adequate lateral strength and rigidity. Inset into each board are two Evazote 50 resilient foam strips which provide the system's major resilient and shock absorption qualities. Each board is factory finished and sealed with 5 coats of UV cured lacquer.

PERFORMANCE
STRENGTH
In accordance with BS CP3, Chapter V, BOEN Boflex P1 will safely support distributed loads of 5.0kn/m² and a point load of 3.6Kn applied through a 25mm indenter.
FIRE
Parquet wood flooring is combustible but
not easy to ignite.
