Bona R410 is a solvent and water free component epoxy resin for damp-proofing cementitious subfloors prior to installing timber flooring. As a moisture barrier it will function when R.H. is as high as 92-100%

Information
  • To be used in order to prevent the impact of moisture on timber due to damp cementitious surfaces or where there is an absence of a DPM.
  • Application: Paint brush, roller or trowel. Two coats need to be applied, the second in alternate direction after 2-3 hours
  • Coverage: Approximately 20sqm
  • Drying time: approximately 24 hours

  • A damp proofer for cementitious surface where moisture readings are high (CM 5% or RH 90-100%)
  • A two coat system
  • Bona adhesives R850 and R770 can be used directly onto R410 after 2 hours
  • It is important that R410 is applied at the stated coverage
  • The subfloor must be even, clean and physically sound
  • The coverage for the 5KG tin is 20sqm with one coat. Where 2 coats are required (for Damp proofing purposes) the tin will cover 10sqm.
