Bona S750 Adhesive

S750 is a one-component solvent based parquet adhesive dissolved in organic solvents, primarily acetone and ethanol, which conforms to DIN 281 with low solvent content. The hardened adhesive is hard plastic. IT is easy to apply with a rapid setting and a good open time.
For bonding timber flooring to a suitably prepared substrate. Suitable substrates include concrete, plywood, cementitious screeds, anhydrite screeds, mastic asphalt and levelling compounds.

• Rapid setting
• Retains trowel structure
• Good open time
• Easy to apply (slightly higher viscosity than S760)
• Application: To be applied using a trowel appropriate to the flooring being laid. Application should be made to an area no bigger than that can be laid in 15mins.NOTE If the product has been stored for an extended period-stir well prior to use.
• Coverage: Depends upon size and type of flooring. It is important that correct rates are used to avoid problems associated with poor adhesion. See below:
  • 850g/M squared-Mosaic parkett (not prefinished)
  • 1000g/M squared-10mm solid parkett, 22mm strip flooring, 2 layer prefinished parkett
  • 1250g/M squared-End grain blocks/fingers, 3 layer prefinished parkett
  • Drying time: open time-15 minutes.
    After 24 hours the floor may be sanded and sealed under normal conditions

Key points

• S750 is not suitable for bitumen backed blocks, finger mosaic etc.
• Drying time/cure time may be affected by adverse site conditions such as low temperature and high humidity
• It is recommended that the substrate be primed using Bona D500
• S750 conforms to DIN 821
• Suitable for use with underfloor heating
