Bona Prep is a ready-to-use conditioning/preparation system designed to optimise the adhesion of Bona finishes to all types of polyurethane based floor finishes, including factory applied finishes. The use of Bona Prep within a system ensures that the best possible level of adhesion is obtained combined with a good level of abrasion on the floor surface.

• Convenient – pre-mixed and ready to use
• Fast – just spray and buff
• Removes scuff marks
• Application: For small areas - the application must be carried out by hand with a spray bottle in larger areas - Prep may be applied by spray buff or scrubber/drier machines or alternatively in a thin layer using a mop. Directions:
  • Clean mop with Parkett Cleaner
  • Apply Prep and leave for a few minutes
  • Buff floor with green pad
  • Clean floor with mop dampened with Prep
  • Allow floor to dry
  • Lightly abrade using Scrad System
  • Vacuum and then use mop dampened with Prep
  • Allow to dry
  • Apply finish (within 2 hours)
  • Coverage: 40M squared/Litre per application

• Surface must be free of wax and other contaminants
• Flooring previously treated with wax, must be sanded back to barewood
• Always check intercoat adhesion with a test area.
