Engineered Wood Flooring

All of our engineered wood flooring boards are suitable for use with an under floor heating system. In order to preserve the environment, wherever possible our wood comes from sustainable forests.

Engineered floor boards are much more stable than solid wood flooring which makes them ideal for installation in rooms where solid boards are not a viable option. Examples of this would be in South facing conservatories where the temperature and humidity can fluctuate greatly within a short period of time, for use in below ground floor rooms such as cellars. The humidity in cellars is higher than above ground rooms which makes solid flooring unsuitable. Engineered boards can also be used for cellars.
We now offer engineered boards that are structural boards - these are thicker than 18mm and can be laid directly onto joists without the need of plyboard or floor boarding to stabilise it.

The engineered flooring boards are available in a choice of woods including engineered oak boards, walnut engineered floors and ash engineered flooring.
The boards are available unfinished, oiled or lacquered / varnished. There is also a choice of colour oiled floors available.

Electric underfloor heating for engineered wood floors

We highly recommend the use of electric underfloor heating systems such as ecoFilmset underfloor heating systems for use with engineered wood flooring. Electric underfloor heating will provide heat from below your engineered wood floors to the entire flooring area.

• Unfinished

Real Wood Top Layers

Engineered wood flooring is available in a choice of 4 different thicknesses:

• 8mm
• 6mm
• 4mm
• 3mm

Engineered Extra Wide Sizes

For those of you who require narrow to extra wide engineered wood floor boards we offer a range of sizes:

• 450mm
• 350mm
• 260mm
• 220mm
• 180mm*
• 189mm
• 148mm
