Beech (Fagus Sylvatica L.). Especially exotic wood species have a warm reddish colour that is in high demand in the market. Junckers has created a process where beech – a wood species which is available in very large quantities - has been vacuum stained to achieve a rich reddish shade throughout the floorboard. It appears as an interesting and noble alternative to the limited volumes of the exotic wood species.

Junckers solid hardwood flooring is produced and categorized according to Junckers factory standards and in accordance with EN 13226 and EN 14342. Junckers floors are made exclusively from solid hardwood, with all the characteristics typical of this natural material. Each style will display a unique range of grain and colour characteristics.

The photographs are designed to show the average appearance of the style and species. It is normal to see a variance in appearance between individual boards and packs. Up to 5% of the boards may contain features of the next style. Floors laid at differing times may vary slightly because of this average grading.

The Shipsdecking look enhances each individual board and gives the floor a harmonious and robust expression. Between each board there is a black, flexible neoprene strip which in combination with the solid boards gives any modern home a maritime and elegant atmosphere. If you select Junckers Shipsdecking, the neoprene strip absorbs the movement in the floor so that it looks the same all year round. Your thoughts naturally turn to hot days at seaside. Almost as if you were there yourself… all year round.
