Beech is the most popular and versatile of all the hardwoods. The light tone and soft grain produce a bright feel that compliments any style of kitchen. Our high-quality Beech worktops are also the hardwood of choice for the commercial sector – frequently used as hardwearing bar and counter-top surfaces.

The Beech most commonly grown as an ornamental tree is the European Beech, widely cultivated in North America as well as its native Europe. The European species yields a widely used timber, an easy-to-work beautiful wood.

European Beech offers a medium range of colour variability in each of the colour ranges this wood is offered in. In the drying process, Beech which is steamed yields a pink/orangey tan colour, while the unsteamed Beech yields a blonde tan coloured wood.

Worktops come in a maximum length of 360mm. Due to being too long for most courier services, if given the pattern we can provide the service of cutting it down for you.

Our Beech Kitchen Worktops Are Pre-Oiled

Each Worktop is treated in the factory with WOCA FDA approved real wood oxidising & hardening worktop oils, and finished with the 150-grit WOCA Patina Disc procedure to ensure full oil saturation to produce maximum protection with a smooth surface finish

These Beech worktops are made to 3 and 4 metre lengths with the following specs:

3 metre lengths

  • 3000x620x40mm

4 metre lengths

  • 4100x620x40mm

Upstands

Complete your Beech worktop with an upstand, the elegant solution that provides a seamless finish to your kitchen. As the wood expands naturally over time, an upstand will conceal the gap that is needed in order for the wood to grow.

All of our upstands are available in the following sizes:
  • 3000x20x40mm
All our oak doors are veneered oak unless stated otherwise. The thickness of the internal doors is 35mm and these are hollow cores. Our pine doors are solid pine unless stated otherwise. Fire doors which come as solid doors and are 44mm thick are available in a number of our door ranges - please ask for full details.
