Real Oak Floors current best seller for wood flooring is the 189mm Engineered Oak Brushed and Oiled Flooring this flooring is finished with three coats of oil and brushed which makes it very resistant against scratches and makes it ideal for those with pets. It has a 22mm thickness so it can be laid directly down onto joists and has a natural grade.

Trip Trap changes to Woodcare Denmark (Woca)

The Danish wood flooring oil manufacturers Trip Trap have lost a court ruling on the name “Trip Trap”. Due to this ruling they will now be changing their name to Woodcare Denmark - or Woca for short.

When the company Trip Trap split into separate divisional entities several years ago, the lawyers in Norway retained the ownership of the Trip Trap name outside of Denmark for thier “Traditional Trip Trap Furniture”.

As a consequence they are requesting full removal of the trip trap name for their own use, therefore changing the name of the “original” trip trap oils to Wooodcare - woca.

The new name will be taking immediate effect and Real Oak Floors will be shortly changing their website to reflect this (Woodcare oils).

The flooring oils are exactly the same and no changes to the trip trap product names or items will take place. Woca danish oils have been one of the leading manufacturers for wood flooring oils for some time - their products are natural, effective and adaptable for all wood floor, furniture and wood products.

There are are many different great looking designs made from different wood types such as Oak, Maple and Walnut. These engineered parquet flooring tiles are all 19mm thick which makes them all very durable and hard wearing. Also to go with the parquet flooring tiles are blending borders and corner squares to match.

Also new in are two brand new ranges of flooring! We now have the Majestic Wood Flooring range and the Prestige Wood Flooring range. The Majestic range covers the finest wood flooring we have, it is very high in quality and looks great! The prestige flooring range on the other hand is also very high in quality, each floor is individually crafted in the UK by master craftsmen with years of experience. This range like the Majestic Wood Flooring range covers both Engineered Wood Flooring and Solid Wood Flooring. It is brought to you exclusively by real oak floors and can be found nowhere else!

If you want a really extra wide plank flooring look no further than this new product we have just got in, 350mm oiled or brushed and oiled wide board! This flooring is 350mm wide as standard but is available up to 450mm! This is one of the widest boards available on the market at the moment. It has a 20mm thickness and is supplied in random lengths from 4 - 5 meters.

Real Oak Floors Supplying to the Palace Theater in London

On top of supplying to 60 Minute Makeover Real Oak Floors were selected to supply wood flooring to the Palace Theater in London, owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber! They supplied their 180mm Barnwell Antique Oak Flooring for the theatre. This flooring is excellent for use in a traditional setting such as the theater or traditional home! It has a hand scraped micro bevel to enhance the planked look and is available with either a 6mm or 4mm real wood layer.

Oak Worktops

Engineered oak wide planks are available in these varieties. 235 mm width boards with a thickness of 19mm ( 4mm real wood top layer + 15mm backing layer) this wood comes in lengths of up to 1.9 metres. The edges of these boards are micro bevelled. Available in the following finishes:

The Lacquer Collection comes in ultra matte and silk matte nuance. The lacquers are water based and 2-components, providing optimal durability, which can also be used for floor maintenance.

The Oil Collection is a series of coloured oils that are both easy to use and provide the floors with an attractive and deep tint.

Quick and flexible laying technique

Junckers solid wood floors are very flexible and easy to lay. You can lay them regardless of the underlying surface, as long as it is level.

Laid as a floating floor, Junckers parquet and plank floors can be laid directly onto a concrete or wooden surface without the use of bearers. Thanks to the unique Junckers click system, the finished floor is no more than 3mm higher than the actual floorboards. A floating floor is the perfect solution for heated floors as it adjusts to varying temperature and humidity.

Happy Hallowe'en!!
Nothing scary here though, just an update on the wood profiles and accessories offered by Real Oak Floors.

Threshold Strip

The threshold strip is available in 3 different woods; oak, maple and kempas. We stock threshold strips with the tongue (T-Bar) or without the tongue for simpler fit, which is easier to fill.

Reducer Bars

The reducer bar is useful for creating a smooth transition between flooring of two heights .

Dado rails

Dado rails complement the flooring and are provided in a variety of different wood types.

Edge Profiles

Used for finishing expansion gaps around flooring to ensure a flat tight finish. Edge profiles are availabe in a variety of profiles and wood types.

Architrave

Architrave is available in oak, maple or kempas.
The profiles available for architrave are Ogee, Chamfered, Bullnose (Pencil Rounded), Torus and Ovolo.

Skirtings

Skirtings are available in oak, maple and kempas in a choice of profiles. Available skirting profiles are Ogee, Chamfered, Bullnose (Pencil Rounded), Torus and Ovolo.

Scotia Beading

We provide Scotia beading in Solid Wood (Oak, Maple and Kempas), MDF (Maple, Beech, Oak, Pine and Cherry) and PVC.

Quadrant Beading

As with Scotia beading we also provide Quadrant beading in Solid Wood (Oak, Maple and Kempas), MDF (Maple, Beech, Oak, Pine and Cherry) and PVC.

Door Casings

We stock and sell door casings in both solid and enginnered wood.

Window sills and Window Ledges

Windows sills and ledges are available from us. Can be milled to any specific size routed, finished or unfiished. Selection of different woods including Oak, Maple, Meranti or Walnut.

Stair Nosing

Stair nosing is useful for the edge of stairs if cladding, stair nosing protects the edges and provides good insulation.
We provide a routing service to provide rounded boards for cladding stairs as an alternative to stair nosing.

Kitchen worktops

We provide a range of solid kitchen worktops. Our worktops are available in Oak, Teak, Country Beech, Prime Beech, Cherry, Birch, Maple and Iroko.
Worktops come in 400mm. Due to being too long for most courier services, if given the pattern we can provide the service of cutting it down for you.

Radiator pipe roses.

Radiator pipe roses are an accessory to finish your flooring by covering you radiator piping with wood handles.

Rough sawn oak Timber

Rough sawn oak timber is available in lengths of up to 2.4m andwidth 120 - 200 mm, Rough sawn, planed and straight edged or sanded. Useful for furniture making or windows sills.

Tongue and groove boards

Tongue and groove boards are useful for cladding, and the making of own ledged and braced doors.

Carpentry and Joinery service

We offer a carpentry and joinery service to install any of the above items and doors, flooring and pretty much anything we sell.
Sanding and sealing and floor restoration services can also be provided.
