Solid Handscraped Golden Oak

This flooring is an absolute classic antique styled solid Oak flooring. Its uniquely hand scraped effect have fast made this floor a firm favourite with our customers because it is well suited to both traditional and contemporary homes.

The brushed and oiled planks have a much more textured surface which almost feels "rough" to the touch but is extremely durable and is not slippy under foot. It has a very matt appearance and colour depth is more than the standard sanded and oiled boards due to the texture of the floor.

This flooring size is 19mm x 120mm and comes in random lengths between ~400mm to ~1800mm. Each plank of this attractive flooring is micro bevelled (V grooved) for individual board definition, which accentuates each individual plank. This flooring fits together using a tongue and groove system for quick and easy installation. The price shown here is per square metre.

This solid hardwood Oak is extremely adaptable when it comes to fitting. Our suggested method of installing this flooring is to use the self-adhesive underlay. The flooring is stuck to the adhesive side of the underlay but is not fixed to the sub floor, creating a glue-free floating floor in a very short time.

Using a porta nailer this flooring can be secretly nailed straight onto the existing sub floor or joists providing a sturdy, permanent floor that will last a lifetime. There is also the option to fix the floor to the sub floor using flooring adhesives; there are a wide variety of adhesives on the market, which is perfectly suited to holding your flooring in place for years to come. We would suggest Bona S760 Adhesive.
