Parquettgrund Joint Filler

A solvent based joint filler designed to be mixed with sanding dust to provide a filler for joints up to 5mm in width and other minor defects in wooden floors. eg Knot holes

For use on wooden floors that have been sanded back to bare wood.

Information

• To create a smooth floor with no joints or imperfections
• To reduce colour variation across the floor
• Quick drying
• Can be easily sanded and lacquered
• Can reduce the potential for cumulative shrinkage
• Application: Apply to the whole floor after 100 grit sanding using a stressed steel trowel. Apply topically using a spatula or knife
• Coverage: 1 Litre/10M squared depending on width and depth of joints and quantity
• Drying time: 10-20 mins at 20 degrees celcius with 55%RH in 1mm joints. May be extended where deeper wide joints are filled.

Key Points

• For filling larger joints subsequent applications may be necessary
• Joint filler should be mixed to the consistency of thick porridge

IMPORTANT - European VOC Rulings now state that once we run out of Parkettgrund Joint Filler, we will no longer be able to supply any more.
