Quick Cure Wax Oil

Quick Cure Wax Oil is a unique combination of an oil derived resin and waxes that gives rapid drying, recoat and hardness build up whilst maintaining the natural beauty of the wood. Quick Cure Wax Oil provides a unique and beautiful natural finish for wooden flooring, but because it is based on Floor Seal Technology, it has excellent scratch, chemical and black heel mark resistance. The maintenance process is also far quicker and easier than traditional wax oil products. It has been specially formulated for commercial and domestic flooring.

Drying Times:

• Dry time: 30 minutes
• Recoat: 2 hours
• Light traffic: 6 hours
• 100% cure: 24 hours (At 20°C. Do not use below 10°C. Low temperature and high humidity may extend the cure and drying times of the seal.)

Coverage:

• Planed softwood or hardwood: 10-12m² per litre (Wet film thickness 80-100 micrometres per coat.)

Finish:

• Satin

Application Method:

• Use a synthetic or lambs wool applicator, pad or roller.

Systems:

• Light (domestic) use: 2/3 coats*
• Heavy (office) use: 3 coats*
• Very heavy (shop) use: 4 coats*

Maintenance:

• 1/2 coats

Clean Up:

• Clean tools in water and detergent immediately after use.

Compatibility:

• Quick Cure Wax Oil is not suitable for use over previously oiled or sealed floors, these should be stripped back to bare wood. For interior use only.

Precautions:

• Allow 24 hours before heavy traffic. Protect from water for 24 hours. For 8 days after application the use of detergents, polish and other maintenance products should be avoided. Remove strong acids & alkalis and paints from the film immediately. Do not cover with carpet or rugs for 24 hours.
