The Quickjack works over any solid surface, is portable and has an easy side wind mechanism which can produce considerable pressure due to the bevel gearing and screw mechanism, the jack stays put when the boards are tightened leaving your hands free for final fixing.

Hardwood flooring is a very challenging and time consuming task. Bowed boards are a regular problem, and quite often the nailers alone will not drive the boards together. There is also difficulty in laying the last few boards near a wall where the nailer cannot be used effectively. Using wedges and pry bars to tighten up the last few boards is time consuming and can lead to damaged walls or boards.

The Quikjack will solve this problem including fitting the last boards. When laying flooring out away from a wall the quikjack slides along a 2 x 4 joist and will lock in any position. The 2 x 4 joist acts as a strut which presses against the opposite wall and if pressing aginst a finished wall another 2 x 4 joist can be used as a bearing plate to avoid wall damage. When close to the wall the Quikjack bears directly aginst the wall or bearing plate to pull in the last board
