<title>Beech Natural Unfinished Strip Sports Floor</title>
<description>Your sports floor is designed primarily for sports use. Thou, many facilities have to be used for other activities including things like; assemblies, careers fairs, drama, parties and social events, bring and buy sales, exhibitions etc.

Solid hardwood sports floors are designated as "area elastic floors" to provide the spring resilience and shock absorbing qualities needed for sports and dance use to minimise injury. If the floor is too hard the athlete and user will be exposed to early fatigue, and aching joints through to injury such as sprains, joint and shin bone damage.

If too soft, then ball bounce and running characteristics are compromised.
In the UK, hardwood sports floors are governed by a number of recognised standards:

All sports floors must conform to BS7044 Part 4 - this is the minimum Sport England requirement, with which your floor msut comply if it is part of a Sport England sponsored project.

A higher more demanding standard for better quality sports and dance flooring is DIN 18032 Part 2

The newest - and the best - standard is the European Standard CEN 217. This standard has brought together all the best eprformance criteria from a number of current standards in the EU, including BS and DIN.

All Junckers systems fully comply with one or more of these standards. They ALL comply with the minimum Sport England requirement of BS7044 Part 4 compliance.</description>

      <title>Junckers Clip System</title>
<description>The Junckers CLIPsystem delivers medium shock absorption and resilience, and is perfectly suited for renovation projects that traditionally demand low construction heights, if installed on an existing sports floor.

Installation of a floating floor such as the CLIPsystem couldn’t be simpler. An underlay
is rolled out over the subfloor before the boards are simply joined together, using Junckers’ own clips.

There are two construction heights for a Junckers CLIPsystem sports floor: 27 mm when the CLIPsystem floor is installed over an existing resilient sports floor; and 32 mm over a concrete subfloor and harder sports floors. This is due to the different thicknesses of underlay required for each type of subfloor.

      <title>Junckers Unobat 50 Sports Floor System</title>
<description>The Junckers UnoBat 50 batten system is the lowest elevation, high performance undercarriage system offering a fully sprung floor to the highest demands and criteria.
Fast and economical to install, it conforms fully to the requirements of BSEN14904 A4.
It has a total construction height of only 50mm designed for installation over flat, level sub-floors. The system comprises of a 22mm Junckers Press dried Beech board secret nailed to a veneered softwood batten, which has a unique arrangement of specially developed rubber strips
on the underside. The outer and inner strips differ in density and performance – low density on the outside and high density on the inside – to produce a 2 step absorption effect with a braking system, which delivers optimum shock absorption and consistent ball response.

The Junckers Portable System provides optimum flexibility for stadia and sports halls hosting a variety of activities. Also when special line markings are required, e.g. for TV transmissions,
the Junckers Portable System is the perfect solution.

The floor is quickly and easily installed. An intermediate layer is required both in order to protect existing floors and to provide shock absorption and resilience. When the intermediate layer is in place, the floor system is installed, and the elements are held in place by simple metal fittings.

The installation height of the Junckers Portable System is either 27 or 32 mm, depending on the sub-floor.

DuoBAT 110+ is a double-layer batten system with a total construction height of 110 mm (plus levelling material). The system boasts outstanding shock absorption, resilience and ball bounce.

Based on the patented J-Lock concept, DuoBAT 110+ offers excellent flexibility in terms of installation due to its capability of being installed over uneven subfloors with fewer packing areas. J-Locks ensure fast and secure connection between the upper and lower batten layers.
In terms of performance, J-Locks present exceptional sports floor qualities with enhanced and controlled resilience provided by the rubber pads and built-in deformation limit function - ensuring also that the rubber pads never loose their elasticity.

These characteristics are consistent across the entire floor and make DuoBAT 110+ particularly suited to multi-purpose sports halls which play host to fast-moving ball games, aerobics and gymnastics.
