The New Patina discs are a revolutionary way of oiling floors. It is now possiblel to make a one coat application of the floor. The surface absorbs the oil immediately and becomes hard-wearing, silky smooth and easy to maintain

The patina disc has one side with a very fine abrasive grit and one side with a velcro layer which enables the disc to attach to a pad.
When using the larger buffing pads two patina discs can be placed opposite to each other.
Apply the oil using a paint roller or a brush, then polish with the pad containing two patina discs. The combination of light sanding and polishing helps the oil penetrate faster into the wood and results ina very smooth finish - always make sure that sufficient oil is applied in order to work with the wood wet.
When the surface appears saturated, remove all the excess oil using a cotton cloth - then polish with a clean white pad in order to obtain a uniform gloss.
The result is a highly saturated floor that feels smooth, dries quickly and has a silky-matt gloss.

The patina discs can also be applied in the same way by hand or a hand buffer. They are also suitable to use on wood worktops to create a fantastically smooth and well protected work surface.
